Community Guidelines
Our Community. Our Support. Our Safe Space.
Purple Wings is a supportive community where lupus warriors, caregivers and families can connect, share and encourage one another.
To keep our group safe, respectful and welcoming, all members are asked to follow these guidelines:
01 Respect Everyone
Treat every member with kindness, dignity and understanding.
02 Confidentiality Matters
Do not share screenshots, conversations or personal information outside the group without permission.
03 No Judgement
Everyone’s lupus journey is different. Respect individual experiences.
04 Share Responsibly
Personal experiences are welcome, but do not present personal opinions as medical advice.
05 No Medical Prescriptions
Never advise members to start, stop or change medication without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
06 No Advertising or Spam
Unauthorised promotions, fundraising requests and unrelated links are not permitted.
07 No Bullying or Discrimination
Harassment, offensive language and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
08 Support One Another
Listen, encourage and offer compassion. Sometimes members simply need someone who understands.
09 Respect Group Boundaries
Do not privately contact members without their consent.
10 Admin Decisions
Administrators reserve the right to remove inappropriate content or members who repeatedly disregard these guidelines.

If you experience severe, sudden or worsening symptoms, seek immediate medical attention. Do not wait for a response from the WhatsApp group or its administrators.
