NoniM Lupus Foundation is committed to responsible leadership, accountability and ethical conduct in pursuing its mission of lupus awareness, education, advocacy and community support.
Our governance structure establishes clear responsibilities for Board oversight, executive leadership, programme delivery and community engagement. It supports responsible decision-making, appropriate stewardship of resources and accountability to the communities we serve.

Leads the Foundation’s strategic implementation, programmes, operations, stakeholder relationships, partnerships and public representation.
Thembile Mazibuko
Secretary
Supports governance administration, meeting notices and minutes, maintenance of official records, and organisational compliance processes.
COMMUNITY
Operations & Volunteers
The Foundation’s operational work may be supported by volunteers and designated role-holders across:
- Lupus awareness and community outreach
- Purple Wings Lupus Collective
- Communications and social media
- Events and awareness campaigns
- Volunteer coordination and administration
- Partnerships and in-kind resource sponsorships
Operational roles are distinct from Board appointments. Role-holders will be identified publicly when appointments are confirmed.
SPECIALIST INPUT
Professional Advisory Network
The Foundation intends to develop a professional advisory network covering areas such as legal and governance matters, accounting, rheumatology, psychology and nutrition.
Advisory appointments will be listed once confirmed. An advisory role does not automatically confer Board membership.

NoniM Lupus Foundation aims to maintain appropriate governance records, document Board decisions, manage conflicts of interest, protect confidential information and use sponsored resources responsibly.
